Well, like pretty much any other mom on the planet...I got busy. I have missed you all and I'm so incredibly sorry I haven't been keeping you up to date on the blog! So, here's a quick "blurb" to catch you up on our family and the business. We did officially finalize our adoption on our newest daughter and it's like she was always ours...the BEST plan God laid before us! Other than that, we've had normal family life...BUSY...lol, birthdays, moving into a new house, LIFE. On the business side of things we've been taking it a little slower lately to allow time for our family to adjust and now we will be back up and running at full pace! We are planning to announce a new special in just a few days as well as introduce a new pricing structure just for YOU. We also are happy to share that a session along with a framed print of mine that was taken after some of our most recent tornadoes here in Oklahoma, will be up for silent auction to help tornado victims...for more information please contact the studio by email or phone and we'll direct you to the right place! I absolutely LOVE getting to watch families and kiddos grow & this particular family my hubby and I have known since college and I've been SO blessed to be their photographer the last several years! "J" and I have tried for months to get this session shot but we live in Oklahoma and apparently our weather had different ideas...lol. Well...we finally got to shoot and it was PERFECT...weather was awesome (seriously though...not too windy, no rain, not 113 degrees, no tornadoes or earthquakes...lol...gotta love Oklahoma!) & the girls were AMAZING! I can't wait to finish editing these...they did so well and have grown so much it just floors me. Hope you guys enjoy the sneak peek and have an awesome rest of your week!

Well it's been a while!!! We've been super busy with the business but also super busy at home...we are excited to be adding to our family once again very soon! I would go into typing a long blog about how beautiful the shooting weather has been lately and how wonderful all of you and my client family are but instead I'll keep it short and sweet since you all know how I feel about you and I'll leave you with the long post of some of the sneak peek images from our most recent Mini Session Date last weekend! I so enjoy getting to see friends again and watch their kiddos grow while capturing images for their families! Mommy and Daddy to these two beautiful girls went to college with my husband and I...it's great to get to see them on a pretty regular basis now and watch their family grow! Aren't they gorgeous?! Little Miss E almost gave me a run for my money the other day at this session though, LOL...praise God for cows and suckers...she had Mom and I laughing so hard! Sorry for the HUGE sucker mess though Mom...I'm so glad you're laid back ;D It was great to see you all...everyone enjoy the sneak peek and check back VERY soon for our Fall/Christmas Mini dates announcement!

{Miss K & Miss T} These girlies are such troopers!!! It is HOT here in Oklahoma this summer and that means it's pretty miserable to shoot in unless you arrange your session time around the heat...which we did with these two beauties! We shot super early in the morning to avoid the heat as much as possible and we had lots of fun...we broke out a super cute vintage quilt, vintage chairs, chalkboard, and even BUBBLES! I have SO enjoyed getting to watch Miss K grow over the years and now equally blessed with Miss T...can't wait to see you guys again when you're down! A huge congratulations to Heather and Ben...they tied the knot this past weekend in a beautiful little chapel in Texas! The weather was perfect (a tad warm for this cooler weather loving girl but at least we didn't break into the triple digits...lol). The chapel is absolutely adorable and was perfect for these two! I got the wonderful chance to shoot their engagement pictures as well and was equally honored to shoot their wedding. Thank you both for allowing me the honor. We had a blast meeting the rest of the "crew" and being part of your day! Congrats & enjoy your sneak peek!

Ok...so by now you may be tired of hearing how much I adore seeing you all again and again but it's so true...LOL! Here is the "S" family (I think you'll be seeing a lot of them since they are my most recent VIPs ;D I just crack up through each and every session with these kiddos...they are super cute and ornery but I love it and they keep me on my toes! I've gotten the chance to shoot their family pics for some time now and I just really love this family...they make each session something different & always help keep it laid back and fun! It was windy but we were able to snag some beautiful images of the whole family and even some more comical between siblings...more to come later ;D

I LOVE when clients keep calling me back and I get to watch their families grow...it says something special to me and means that you all love what I do and I hold that so dear! Let me reintroduce the "M" family who I had the pleasure of capturing their first pregnancy with LIL Miss A & I can not tell you how overjoyed I was to receive a text from them a few months ago letting me know they were expecting again!!! SO, I was honored to get to shoot this maternity session as well and this time include Miss A as getting to be a big sister soon. It was SO windy but we still braved outside for some shots (which I'm totally glad we did!) & I managed to get some "not posed at all" shots like one of the images below...we were shooting with just mom and dad and Miss A decides she wants in on this shot and runs up and puts her hands firmly on baby brother just for a split second...I LOVE IT! So, in case you can't tell...I LOVED getting to see you guys again and can't wait for Lil Man to make his entrance so I can meet him too...ENJOY your sneak peek & I will see you guys VERY soon for newborn pics!

Meet my beautiful cousin Miss D! We had an impromptu photo shoot today because the weather was glorious and had a blast. I LOVE shooting for all of you wonderful clients out there but I also LOVE getting to "free shoot" for fun some too! We found some amazing light and some new places to shoot...SO excited to edit more of these over the next week or so! For now, thanks "D" for tagging along with me and letting me "boss you around"...LOL I had SO much fun! Doesn't she just SHINE!?! LOVE HER! Enjoy these few for now!

LOVE this couple...soon to be 3!!! Aren't they just too perfect together?!!? And,"M" is just the cutest pregnant woman EVER... ;D We always have a blast shooting together and I love how laid back these two are. We had the wonderful chance to see friends from college and their two beautiful girls this past weekend! Lil' Miss E has just turned 1 so we got some special shots of just her and snuck in some of big sister Miss G and also a couple with mom and dad (I promise you'll thank me later J and C...LOL) ;D Both girlies were just SO awesome and I loved all the giggles and just getting to hang out with them for a bit...we had some beautiful weather until the chill started to roll in right before sunset but the last shots of them eating suckers in the glowing sunset light are just AMAZING and SO worth the little bit of brisk air!!! Can't wait to share them with you! I was lucky enough to have our own Miss Kelsey ("Kels")...to capture some snap shots during the session, we'll have some off those to show you very soon as well! I got to see this wonderful family over Christmas break and shoot pictures of them while they were all together. I LOVE getting to watch Miss K grow each year and enjoyed very much meeting the rest of the crew!
